米ブロケードコミュニケーションズシステムズは、TRILLなどのプロトコルを使ったイーサネットファブリック製品を展開する一方で、 OpenFlowのへの対応の可能性を模索している。同社は、他のベンダと検証を繰り返しながら、自社スイッチへの試験的実装を改善してきているが、 2012年2月には日本にOpenFlow関連のラボを開所する予定だ。以下は、＠ITがこの件を含め、米ブロケードCEOのマイケル・クレイ コー（Michael Klayko）氏、CTOのデイヴ・スティーブンス（Dave Stevens）氏に聞いた内容の一部だ。
